Redington Classic Spey 11'6" 8wt Package

If you've been wanting to get into two-handed casting, we've made it easy.

The Redington Classic Spey 11'6" 8wt Package puts together everything you need to get started with a Skagit setup—from the rod and reel right through to the shooting head and interchangeable tips.

At the centre of the package is the Redington Classic Spey 11'6" 8wt, an easy-loading two-handed rod with a moderate-fast action. It's designed to help you develop a natural casting rhythm without making you work harder than you need to. The rod works well with modern Spey lines and both traditional and contemporary casting techniques, making it a great platform for learning and progressing with two-handed casting.

A Complete Skagit Setup

We've paired the Classic Spey with the Redington Behemoth 9/10, 150 yards of 30lb backing, and a 550gr RIO Elite Skagit Max Power Shooting Head.

The Skagit Max Power gives you the ability to cast the larger flies and heavier tips that make Skagit casting so effective, while the RIO Elite .037" Metered Shooting Line provides the running line you need to get the head out.

The package also includes three interchangeable RIO tips:

• 10' RIO MOW Medium Floating

• 10' RIO iMOW Medium 5' Intermediate / 5' T-11

• 10' RIO T-11

That gives you a floating option, an intermediate/T-11 combination, and a full T-11 tip, letting you change the depth and presentation without changing your entire setup.
